Lou Kaufmann, now in his seventies, is in Semi-Renewalment and still active as a Real Estate Broker for his company, Kaufmann Realty, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Lou has been in the real estate business over thirty years.

Lou has had an outstanding career in the sales profession since the time he was discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He sold life insurance in New Jersey and became an Account Executive for NBC TV in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960. He later became associated with Success Motivation Institute, sold Success and trained motivated many of the leading companies in Las Vegas at that time.

Lou became District Manager with Midas Mufflers in 1973 and eventually became Vice President of the Midas dealership in El Paso, Texas. He received his real estate license in El Paso and became Marketing Director for Meca Homes. He sold or caused to be sold over 400 homes in a five year period and opened up his own real estate company, eventually being recruited to Northwest Arkansas and opening his own office in Bella Vista.

Lou is proud of his involvement with the U.S. Jaycees and of his achievements in that organization. He is the Former State President of the Nevada Jaycees, he is a former Vice President of the U.S. Jaycees and was a candidate for President of the U.S. Jaycees. He was nominated as an Outstanding Young Men in 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada and served as Chairman of the Governors Council on Physical Fitness, named by Governor Paul Laxalt. Lou is the former President of the El Paso Kiwanis Club, the Las Cruces Cancer Association and as a licensed pilot, President of the El Paso Aviation Association. He has an honorable discharge from both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force and attended Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Lou and his lovely wife of four years, Judy, live in Semi-Renewalment in Bella Vista, Arkansas.
